Soooo.. the pumps arrived Yesterday. I didnt even open the box, but today, I did. installed my pair. WOW they can definately get my 180 rocking and rolling. I had to dial them back to about 18 volts to keep from blowing things off rocks and from killing my frogspawns. they ar ea little fatter than my Koralia 4's but also slightly shorter. they push way more water. WAY MORE. I mounted the controllers under my stand for now, but because of this, they wont use the light sensors. I may move them up top but I have never been one to cut pumps at night.

all in all, well worth the cost. they wont be replacing my closed loop as of yet though. ill still have it. just wish I could throttle it down a bit so id have more wave action.

I'm jealous, if these came out 2 years ago i would have definitely bought them instead of vortechs. Those jebos are an amazing deal.

Just so you guys know reef angel makes a hardness for the wp40 so it can be controlled with the reef angel controller and remember the reef angel is arduino based so the hardness and a cheap arduino and a custom code you will be able to make the wp40 do just about anything you want

I dont havea reef angel controller but I think i may be able to modify a cable to work with the APC controller for my Reefkeeper. I got to save up for that module.
