Going through cleaning out some of my dry goods today, and found my can of Reef Brite’s Reef Enhance.

Got this to assist with diversifying the biome a bit and have forgotten about it. I’m finally coming out of an 18 month battle with first turf algae, followed up by GHA. Pretty much boiled down to finding what worked for PO4 control for me, but that’s another subject. But certainly interested in strengthening the diversity. Currently don’t do any type of dosing for that, other than phyto feast a couple times a week and equally irregular pod population boosts.

Does anyone use this product regularly? I can’t get any hits on it here searching for it so thought maybe it could use its own thread to discuss.

I actually found that thread last time I looked now I remember deciding I didn’t want to dose yeast in the tank.

Haha…thanks!
Well I'm not sure it is. It's still in the back of the fridge, lol. Wife decided it didn't do anything.

I was literally JUST doing the same thing (cleaning out the fridge of any/all old or unused reef feeds, etc) 10 mins ago… n I came across this (reef enhance) & the reef bugs, still in boxes, never used. I looked them up online to see what info I could find to explain why I never really used them, n can only find MOSTLY good reviews in online stores tha sell these products…especially in regard to exploding pod populations. So, I then fell further down the rabbit hole to see if I can mix both together while hydrating, n it says that mixing them actually makes each work better. But then I came across this.

Anyway, I just mixed a small batch n added water to hydrate the powder, but am scared to use them until I get some actual first hand use responses.

Thoughts? Also… what would yeast do to a reef tank? Doesn’t it cause that white hairy fungus? Or am I thinking of something else, like air fresheners n vaping? Thx in advance if u happen to respond. 🙏
