Reef brite LEDS good for coral?

So currently I have 150 PAR around the middle of my tank with an A80 tuna blue but I'm looking to get that to 200 to 300. Would reef brite leds be a better substitute to the A80 Or is it more of a supplemental light?

The ReefBrite XHO has more PAR. It puts out decent PAR, I just bought a dimmer for mine because I think it was a little much in conjunction with my 8-bulb ATI fixture.

Do some searches, you’ll find some people posted their ReefBrite PAR levels.

What is the dimensions of your tank?

Its a 15in by 15in by 15in tank. I got a kessil A80 tuna blue on it but wanna get a light just to get more par. I'm around 140 and want to get that to 200 300 in the middle of the tank

Just some easier sps. I've kept sticks and grew them for a bit then had to shut down but I just need higher par for some bali slimers or montis.

ReefBrite puts out a good radiant blue and should work well but best as a supplement to primary light

Honestly, I would buy a 160 tuna blue or a second hand 360x. I know people would think that this is crazy, but if you're into the hobby, this isn't going to be your only tank. :p Seriously though, I would just get a higher wattage Kessil without adding extra lights.

I thought of that but here's the main issue. I got 4in of space so I can't hang anything easily

Ah, now I see. Is the light just laying on the lid? That lid looks like it’s blocking a lot of light and probably reducing your par quite a bit. I would use glass or a mesh lid.

I took par measurements without the lid. It's just there temporarily but the lights gooseneck is in the second chamber. Within the next week I'm gonna try to cut some plexiglass
