Reef Crystals - High Magnesium?

Same here... I thought my Salifert test kit went bad when it started to run out of range recently. Before that mag was in the high 1400's. The kit goes up to 1500. Bought Nyos to double check but same thing. RC box says it's suppose to be 1350 when mixed to 1.026 sg. Clearly that's a lie. Have two 200 Gal boxes and was wondering if I need to chuck them and switch to something higher quality since RC clearly seems to be a bottom dweller in that dept. Hate the sticky residue too. Had to completely discard one 30 gal bin it was so slimy, sticky and disgusting. Looked literally like somebody threw flour wit lard and tried to mix it.

That said, alk and calcium are decent ~8.15 and 520, so maybe I'll just use up those two and then think about something more reliable.
