For those of you with this issue, how many rolls of fleece have you gone through? I have only used 3 and don’t think mine has worn that much yet.

I changed my 3d printed part out. However the issue persisted.

I took the whole thing out and upon inspection found out that the bottom two "pipes" that the filter material slides over were covered with limpets and other spiky thing on which my filter paper was getting caught on, upon removing those things have been good for a week +

Hi do you have your smart roller still connected to the APP? Also the Large Bubble Magus fleece roller refill works great on the medium Reef factory smart roller. I'm working on my own 3D design that will work great with the reef factory and the (L) refill bubble magus fleece rollers.

Ozonic - Thanks for the info about the large Bubble Magus fleece roller refill working on the medium Reef factory smart roller. If I run out I will try them. If anyone makes a metal D-shaped adapter for this roller, please let me know, I would like to get one.

here is my STL, Will upload remaining shortly:
(1) plastic replacement for the motor

STL I will upload when i get home:
(1) I designed a slide on diameter "increaser" for the roll (custom roll used)
(2) I designed rollers for total 4x "pipes" that the filter paper slides over, these rollers snap onto the "pipe"
This eases the pull on the motor and makes the filter paper slide easier.

will throw this out there, when I had my issues, I reached out to BR s, even though I had bought it elsewhere online.

I was asked for my receipt for within the last year and given points. (they introduced smart reef to the NA market, and since parts/repairs are not possible)
Your results may vary...

My results- The vendor I purchased my roller from told me to reach out to BRS because of the issues. BRS didn't want anything to do it.

Hello. Can you upload the slide and rollers so I can try them out?

Thanks
