Reef octo 110 ext on Biocube?

They are excellent skimmers, but 'whoa!'-- you are going to try to tie it into a BioCube? (And I assume you mean the 32-gallon BioCube, not the 16.) Two main considerations: 1) Getting the water not only out of the tank, but also back into it; 2) Will you have the skimmer unit sitting in something to protect your floor from the eventual collection-cup overflow that will happen sooner or later?

Yes I’m thinking a float switch in the lid and I’m thinking a small dc pump for a feed pump I already ordered the skimmer so fingers crossed it works good
