The minimum and maximum seem to be reversed. So if put it on min it over flows and max stays below the Collection cup. Is this just how it is or am I doing something wrong?

What you're controlling is the amount of water that is allowed to escape out the bottom of the skimmer (rather than being pushed up as bubbles). So when you set it to "min", you are pushing more water up into the column - which causes it to overflow. When you max it out, you are pushing less water up into the column, which then stays below the cup's edge.

TY, that’s what I was thinking just seems backwards from every other skimmer I’ve owned.
