I don’t know about the vertex but I don’t like how the elite adjust water and air volume via a pipe. All of my skimmers are/were adjusted via gate valves and it is much easier to fine tune. I think RO is just cutting cost by using a stand pipe which makes it so much harder to tune.

Well I really hope that's not true i just ordered a elite 220 to replace an sro3000 and sr02000
