Reef octopus float switch skimmer?! help

So i have reef octopus skimmer 200 INT. And the float switch doesnt work. Like i did test it. Moving the sensor up. It turns the light on the controller thats active. But it doesnt shut off the skimmer

Press the FS button to turn on float.
Fs on/off should light up

Theres a button on the controller that enables/disables it.
