This is my tropical freshwater paludarium, I’ve been having quite a few issues that I’m working on but current issue is the lighting system, as the Temu special died and I needed a quick fix. My ex left some of his old reef equipment and just wanting some information on this light. It has a blue and white tube, it was new in the box but there was no paperwork or instructions with it. Will it work as a grow light for the plants? Only livestock are some mystery snails. The globes do get warm but not super hot. I will make a frame for it to sit above the tank too.

Although I am not familiar with that specific lighting model, it appears that it has bulbs that can be replaced. It is unlikely that the bulbs that were used for a reef tank will work well to grow plants, however you should be able to use the fixture and change the lights to plant-friendly lights. Good luck!
