Reef octopus ozone generator

I run Ozone also. I have a Geo Ozone reactor, Poseidon ozone thing that goes pew pew and a dryer. I first set it up on my old old RS Max 500. That tank had so many scratches that it was impossible to keep clean. So clarity in that tank went well beyond water clarity. Insert my new system. I had thought with have a view 8 foot deep, I would notice the difference that ozone makes. I couldn’t. I’m wondering if I had some setup challenges. Meaning, perhaps the line between the reactor and the generator was too long and the Venturi from my reactor wasn’t pulling the ozone through. I’m getting ready to r plans my system so I took the ozone offline until I swap out my frag rank.

Even though Geo states you don’t need to push air into the generator, I debated putting a pump between the dryer and the generator. Until I noticed this:

The output from my 6/18 GAC chamber dumps into my bubble trap. I never smell ozone in my fishroom. I run my ozone for 6 minutes an hour on 3.5. Since I wasn’t smelling ozone, I didn’t think I needed to change the GAC. The output of my ozone being concentrated in one area for so long cause the acrylic to warp. I don’t have any other explanation for the warp. This warp is about 1/2-3/4 inch between two plastic bolts . It wasn’t there when I got the sump and the only thing that has been spray on that specific area is my ozone. If it walks like a duck and quacks like a duck …

Not sure if this makes sense any sense, lol.

I think I should tap in closer to the pump intake to bypass the white tubing. Wanted to test if the ORP will increase and if I stated to see some change with the water clarity.

If you zoom in on my pic you can see the ozone line is below the intake. That's how I have always ran ozone through a skimmer.
You can put in a tee like I did very easily.

My “attempt” did not really work. I noticed my ORP did not increase at all, not even 1 point. I even used an air pump and nothing. I will have to pump the ozone similar to your setup. Which will be similar to the setup from the OP
