Reef Octopus Skimmer

I did a water change today and now when I turned the skimmer on the silencer is sucking the air in very loudly. I tried cutting a some tubing to see if there was a clog and nothing changed. It did not make this noise prior to this water change. Any advise would be great.

Check for salt creep in the line? Clean out the pump?

Pour some reverse osmosis water into the air inlet while it is running. If that doesn't work you may need to take the pump apart and inspect.
