So I have an old laptop, and I was thinking about what I could possible use it for with the tank, before recycling it.

I am not quite looking to go the Reef Pi route, as much as as using it as an interface for Inkbird/Mobious/Aquatic log, etc.

It currently has windows on it, but with those, they are all android/apple apps, so I was thinking I might need to run an android emulator?

Other thoughts?

If you could get your hands on a few software and hardware Items its would blow away any hydros or apex controller. But these items are not cheap, simple Allen Bradly PLC programming abilities are a must. But your one PC could monitor and control multiple tanks, even your neighbors tank. But cost wise, its a no go
