REEF-PI with NODERED

Does anyone have any info on how to setup REEF-PI with NODE-RED? There is no MQTT option on the REEF-PI at the moment but I recall one of the youtube videos showing that REEF-PI could be integrated with NODE RED but there seems to be no details.

Any direction would be greatly appreciated.

I have not used node red. Probably you can use the api to integrate with. If you don’t mind sharing, What you are trying to achieve ?

I went MIA for a spell but recently returned to R2R. I apparently missed much new development and changes with reef pi. It's getting better all the time and I'm not surprised!
