Reef pi without power bar

Hey all! I recently learnt about the reef pi and was excited to make my own controller (I have 0 electronic or coding training) but I would only like to have monitoring (temp, salinity, pH), dosing and to control my 2 Kessil A80s.

I got stumped after downloading reef-pi onto my raspberry pi 2 and I don't know what I should get (or if its even possible) to hopefully get this project off the ground.

Before you spend a bunch of money. I would check out Robo-Tank. You can by complete module or diy kits. You can run Reef-pi on it and Rod has the best instruction manual for Reef-pi software. Not sure it will run on a pi2 but can tell you that it will work on a pi zero w, pi 3 and 4. Just google Robo-Tank. I have been using Robo-Tank for 3 years Robs product are great I’m very happy customer.

pi zero model should work on raspberry pi 2. can you give that a try and let us know ?
