Hi everyone,

Has anyone had any experience with Reef Pro Complete AB additives?

I have a local reef keeper who swears by this stuff.

It is likely fine to use. It sounds like an ordinary two part (there are many brands and diy). Among the commercial brands, there’s no clear evidence of differences or which ones might be best, but ESV B-ionic would get my vote just because I trust them more than most hobby companies to do chemistry correctly. I have been using it for around 16 Months and it has been fantastic. Great acro growth and coloration etc.
Have you noticed any difference from what you were using before as far as coloration? I’m currently using BRS 2 part and Red Sea trace but I feel like my colors are still slightly lacking.

A two part generally is not a good way to boost declining trace elements.

Even if the 2 part contains trace elements? I get that if the 2 part was only Alk and Calcium, but isn't that why they add the other stuff?

Nope. In a product like Balling or ESV-B-ionic it is ONLY to keep the method itself from depletion those ions, not to offset organism consumption.

I have been using it for about 4 months now and love it. It’s on auto dose as well with a RedSea 4 dose. No refrigeration needed.
