Reef Raft Mardi Gras

So far....
Not worth the price or the effort.

So frustrating when I have other Tenuis going from this on Feb 15

To this only 7 months later

Just got mines yesterday. Let’s see what this slow growth your talking about!
Mine grew pretty quick the first 6 months and then just stopped. It’s growing again now but not as fast as others. Good luck

Do you have RMF Lucky Charms as well? How do they compare?

I purchased a big frag from BKChem in early 2019 which did great and really grew well until I killed it with a phosphate spike last December. However it was indistinguishable from the Lucky Charms growing next to it. Maybe same mariculture piece with two names? Luckily (ha!) Lucky Charms powered through the phosphate issue and is going strong. I'd had it for many years longer.

I’ve never had the lucky charms so I can’t say one way or the other. How high was your po4 spike?

I normally run around 0.15 ppm. The only casualties were about a dozen really expensive tenuis and speciosa :(
That sucks. Thankfully my Tenuis have never been bothered by po4 that high

Kudos for this thread Chas! I was about to pull the lever on this piece from Mythical. As beautiful as it is, I don’t need another JF Jolt in my system lol
Jolt is a great grower

The progression on my Jolt is nearly identical to Chas’s MG progression here
Thats a bummer. Mine grows like a weed. Most of jf tenius grow pretty well ime. A few other reefer friends I know ha w good growth with jolt specifically. I know everyone has that one piece that is a stickler though..
