I hear you Keith and I appreciate your input. Bottom line is that if there were hobbyists with colors like the original reef raft photoshopped pic, I would be in the market for one. I'm just annoyed that I have to do lots of research and read through all the agenda driven posts to see if the coral is worth the price. This coral is not by a long shot IMO.

I'm with you. I'm considering it a personal challenge to make mine look as good as the picture. I have a Tyree somewhere over the rainbow mille I've been trying to get to match the original picture for around 3 years and I still haven't given up. I love a challenge or I would find a new hobby :D

There's an old saying: "If you have to ask, then it's too much." :)

I just got a tiny frag of this. It's like a 1/4"-1/8 frag but looks good so far. I'll bring this thread back from the dead in two years when its grown up a bit. lol

almost time... ready to share?

Haha! So it grew very slowly for me unfortunately. Encrusted like crazy but very little vertical growth so I traded it with a local vendor who does lots of SPS. He gave a super kick butt piece of Holy Grail Torch for it... its been growing much better in his tank for sure..

Or you could wait a year and pick it up for $100.00 for an inch frag. Everybody else will have it in there tank by then but that is okay by me.
I am going to say this comment didn’t age well.

Just grow it: Have you ever added CO2 to your reef tank?
