i started it with marco rock and cycled it in a brute for 3 months befor it went in the tank. i have a 5 stage rodi unit and changed filters every 3 to 5 months and change di as needed . i aslo do water changes every 2 weeks am really good at doing my maintance

I would try and get some live rock from a hobbiest or a display from a LFS. Something with life on it and coralline algae. You may be missing some form of biodiversity

Struggling with Alkalinity going up. Water change will bring it down to 9-10, within a week it’s back to 11.5+. No dosing, but I run phosgaurd as I can’t seem to get po4 below .09.

There are no fish in the tank currently just coral and inverts.
