I'm upgrading to a 240 Glass Cages tank from a 90 Aqueon. What's the best way to transfer my coral. Obviously the new tank will have a lot of new rock. I'll also be using the rock on my 90. How do I remove Acro's that have encrusted on the original rocks? I plan on aquascaping with wet rock. About 150 lbs is cooking in a trash can as we speak. The rest will be rock from current tank. Most of across are mini colonies and frags that have encrusted off the plug and onto the rock. Se will have to be removed from their current rocks in order to make the scape work.

Shouldn't be much of a cycle. I'm using 90 lbs of live rock from my current tank, a couple of marine pure bricks from my sump, and 150 lbs of rock that has been cooking in trash cans for 3 months. The trash can rock has been dosed with bottled bacteria regularly. I also throw some fish food in from time to time so the bacteria have a food source.

Cooking rock as in sitting in a garbage can filled with saltwater a pump and a heater while adding bacteria to make it live. Not litteraly cooking the rock. Sorry for the confusion.
