Hi guys.
Does anyone know how to set this up using 2 reef wave 25 pumps?

The idea is to mimic the ebb and flows of the tide and wanting to use random flow for all of the following:

12am Left 50% Right 10%
3am Left 40% Right 20%
6am Left 30% Right 30%
9am Left 20% Right 40%
12pm Left 10% Right 50%
3pm Left 20% Right 40%
6pm Left 30% Right 30%
9pm Left 40% Right 20%

Looks like you can create different wave types but not intensity, unless I’m dumb and didn’t see it.

Intensity should be there. You just adjust the dial.

Ok, thanks.
So looks like I gotta setup 2 sets of custom waves and map them.
One for the right side, one for the left side and leave them ungrouped to run at different intensities.

Thanks for the help.

Hi Quintin, I’d love to know how you got on with this programme . Did you keep it or make any adjustments?
Set it up but didn’t quite like it that much.
Now I’m just running 80% on both pumps in random mode, which does about the same thing.

Can I ask you what size system you are using them on . Sorry for all the questions these pumps have me puzzled I always have too much flow in the center of the tank .

It’s a RedSea 300XL G2.
So 85g in total but 65g in the display.

Running 2x reef wave 25’s at 80% in random flow mounted on either side of the tank at 2 inches below the surface and have the return set to 78%.

It’s an SPS only system, so no LPS or other softies.

Thank you very much . I have a lot or LPS so the higher flow would be an issue for me .

Just grow it: Have you ever added CO2 to your reef tank?
