Reef2Reef YouTube Channel

The problem with that is that one starts this hobby with almost no knowledge and those channels tell you that you need the most expensive equipments to be successful and there is nothing further from reality, they even do a review of a piece of equipment and they know it is not good but right there they sell you that it is the best and what your tank needs.
Maybe R2R can do some product reviews from their sponsors too. 🤔

I could do some product reviews.
Just send me a tank, stand, sump, pumps, lights, skimmer, rodi unit, rock, wave makers...ect
you know, the little stuff 🤣

They probably would. I thought that was part of your perks of being a staff member anyway? Everyone gets a tank?

Unfortunately not, the only perk I get is getting to bug @revhtree all the time 😁

Coral farm tours are great because you can see full colony growth. It’s always helpful to see a grown out colony when considering a coral purchase. Also, the eye candy does well on YouTube. Seeing ORA, ACI, Route 66, etc… will never get old to me.

Tank tours are really cool because you can see successful tanks and hear about their ongoing maintenance.

Those are both high production value ideas…

An idea that’s more focused on user-generated content would be for frequent forum sellers to show off their coral farms or tanks so people can see what’s on offer and where it’s coming from. The seller could shoot their own setup and then you could do an accompanying interview or voiceover as the corals are shown off. That keeps the production budget way down. Grassroots sellers and traders keep the hobby going and don’t get the YouTube spotlight the big shops receive.
