reefer moving to Minnesota

Hey guys,

I'm an avid reefer, but unfortunately had to tear down my tank as I am in progress of moving moving from Milwaukee to Minneapolis.

Any suggestions on good LFS? Anyone have good online suppliers worth checking out? I'm excited to rebuild my reef this summer

Bulk reef supply and marine depot are probably the go to sites for supplies and there are a TON of good vendors on here for livestock. Cherry corals, Aqua SD, Pieces of the Ocean, Battlecorals, Fish n Reef just to name a few. oh and Welcome to the community!

New wave is there in Minneapolis and brs. Great group of ppl. New wave has a lot for a little store and she's great with her customers. Highly recommended checkin it out. The place brs goes to get Thier fish and corals locally is empire I believe. He has a good store prices a little higher but you get what you pay for right.. if you go to Forrest lake which is about 40 miles north the guy up there has a big store cramped but has a lot of livestock both fresh and salt. Tanks are great prices.. I got my 75 gallon for 78$. Just some suggestions.

From fargo nd so I'm only 3.5 hours away and do take trips that way for the fish stores haha.. and work.

There's a handful of stores in the metro area worth checking out.
New Wave Aquaria and Saltwater Empire are the stand outs for marine livestock. But it's also worth looking into other places like AcanLord (Hudson, WI), Wet World, A World of Fish and Fragtastic Reef (Mankato, MN).
Having Bulk Reef Supply in your backyard is a great perk; standard delivery is delivered next day. And don't forget that Fragtastic Reef is also in Minnesota; great pricing and selection.

And check out the local club, Twin Cities Marine Aquarium Society (TCMAS).
We're an active group that schedules two house meetings per month, two expos/swaps per year and other events that are hobby related or just for fun.
