I added the A360X between the two XR15s and there’s a huge increase in PAR readings. I had to turn the Radions down quite a bit. Some new acros started bleaching so I hope they recover.

Finally getting around to getting the UV plumbed. I’m making it as simple as possible. I’ll use the manifold off the return to feed the UV and dump back into the sump.
I’d like to mount the UV as shown in the pic since I’m not using the ATO chamber otherwise.
I’m thinking I could make a hanger out of acrylic but I’m open to an easier solution.

Awesome build. Saved pictures of your rock work to my "Aquascaping ideas" folder.

Thought I’d update the UV. I got a little creative and used egg crate to hang the UV. This will allow easy removal when I need to replace the bulb.

So the water flows down from the manifold through the UV, and empties back into the sump in the filter chamber.

I increased the output on the return pump to 100% to compensate for the loss

Ok I got a few parts in that I’ve been waiting on. Just like on Isaac’s build, I’m going with those plastic hose clamps instead of the metal ones. He also gave me the link for the cabinet lights he used so I went with them too. And they are bright! Very nice!

So what are the details on those cabinet lights? Do you have a link? Thanks!

What did you end up doing to run your ATO? I had a regular cade1200 - moved and downsized to a 600, and am planning to upgrade again to a 1200 Peninsula once our house is completed. Only thing I dislike about the Peninsula is losing that ato chamber up above.

I ran a line from my RO tank at my mixing station and connected it to a float valve in the sump. My RO tank is 60g so I pretty much have endless top off water if needed. However I usually only fill it to about the 20g mark.

Hopefully I’ll finish the mixing station this winter and update the thread

Getting it dialed in. Right now I have my pump at 80% and everything is pretty quiet. I can hear a slight trickle in the drain, so at least for now, I’m thinking it could be due to the fact that I have the gate valve oriented horizontally. However, with the doors closed on the cabinet, I can’t hear it. Maybe that little bit of cavitation will work itself out eventually.
115 gallons total in this 150 gallon system. In the pic of the pump chamber, I’m assuming that’s about how much of a gradient you want in order to keep it quiet. I’m thinking about placing some sort of floss before the pump chamber since I can’t find a screen for the pump inlet yet.

Are you worried about the metal clamp rusting and leaching heavy metals into the tank? I used to use these in a LFS for runs outside of water, but they'd still eventually rust.

Yeah I was worried. I contacted CADE about it and they assured me that it wasn’t a problem and that they use them as well without issues.

There’s only one that I can’t get to without draining the tank. It’s in the overflow.

I’m not sure why they thought this was a good idea honestly.
