I would not unless you lived in same town year round.

I would finish college as quick as possible. It is one thing that makes reef keeping look cheap.

My son is leaving for college in a couple of months and is leaving me to take care of his anemone tank. Luckily it's a fairly easy to care for tank.

Well only if you enjoy it. You would be in your element here. Most are older dads I think.

I drive home on the weekends when im at college to take care of my reef tank

I'm 24 and although money is tight and can be a limiting factor at times, I love my reef tank... it's a great stress reliever that helps me relax!

Was just wondering today about the age demographics of reefing, how it's been maintaining a reef during college?

College is about 30 minutes from home for me but dad helps a lot with tank. Have ~250 gallon system at home with pretty good success so far and have ~40 gallon system in dorm that has done an excellent job of killing frags. Icp comes back great along with all other parameters and no luck for some reason. Is a young tank seeded with old rock though.
