I am going to upgrade my Reefkeeper lite. Where is the cheapest place to purchase the head-unit? I know you can go directly through Digital aquatics, but I thought I had seen it for 120.00 or less somewhere. I have tried to find it again, but no luck.

Does anyone have any ideas.

Thanks

I believe upgrades can only be done directly through Digital Aquatics not through dealers or vendors. There are threads on their DA Support forum about the process.

Dont you lose a few things with upgrading rather then buying a new unite? wouldnt it be better to sell your unite and buy one because you the the other bar and what not?

You keep all your modules and probes since they also work with the Elite and only trade in the head unit. No installing new accessories, just plug it all in to the new head unit, add the program and go with much more expandability.
With the RKL selling for only $95-$99 brand new its hard to sell one for what they give you in trade and no reason to replace the modules if they are functioning properly.
I am maxxed out at 4 modules myself (SL-1, 2xPC-4 and MLC) and may investigate the upgrade soon.

I thought I had seen it on another site somewhere, but maybe I was wrong. I like the Reefkeeper lite, it's just the fact that you a limited to the 4 modules. I thought It would be enough, but I am going to upgrade to dosing system and ato and I only have 1 space left and do not have everything plugged into the reefkeeper now.

Thanks for the help
