Today I finally had time and set up my RKL. I connected the iTemp probe to the PC4 and mounted the probe holder in the tank. I have the probe about halfway submersed in water. At first I noticed the temperature fluctuating very fast and seemed somewhat accurate in the low 80s.

Then I got curious and played with the menu and ended up in Inputs and calibrated my temperature to 76.8. I noticed the temperature on the display change to 76.8 and since then it has not fluctuated back to the low 80s (which it should be at).

The only temp difference I've noticed is 76.7 -76.8. Can anyone explain what I did wrong, and what to do to fix it to accurately measure the tank's temperature again? I tried to do a factory reset but noticed it doesn't fix the module settings, so I'm screwed.

The iTemp probe, unless I've misunderstood everything I've read, does not need to be calibrated when you first set it up. It comes calibrated.
If you get another thermometer (hopefully an accurate one), you can just recalibrate the iTemp probe to that, as mentioned above, and you should be fine.
