I just ordered a Reefkeeper elite controller and was thinking about a SL2 module and salinity probe. My question is, are they worth the money?

That depends on what you want to do with it. The probe works just fine, but do you want to just monitor salinity or control something with it?

Just curious if they are reliable. Mostly just to monitor at this time. I work a lot of overtime and can't always monitor tank like I would like to.

I have had my salinity probe since december 2013. it has been pretty darn spot on provided you calibrate it properly.
