Has anyone ordered replacement needles and bottles yet ? I took a look on the pricing for sterile blunt tip needles and they’re pretty cheap

I doubt it. It comes with 5 syringes and needles, so that should last a while.

I have a problem.

Im trying to calibrate the RO and i'ts way overfilling.
It's supposed be calibrated to 8mL. Im getting about 26mL.
Had to get paper towels the first time around.
2nd time I just used the dropper to remove water before it overflowed. I put it in a larger graduated cylinder and got 26mL.
I got 20mL on the 3rd calibration attempt.
The highest value I can put for a result is 10mL.
I can't get the calibration to go lower than 19mL.
It should be at 8mL.
The RO chamber fills 5 times per calibration. It does not drain.
I am getting 20mL no matter what.
I enter 10mL in the measured volume and it tells me "your device appears to be inaccurate. Please repeat the procedure!"
I've been repeating the procedure all day with no chance in water volume.

I think the RO vial should be draining? If so, my unit is not working properly because my RO vial does not drain.
Can someone please confirm that the RO vial is supposed to drain the water Jist like the test vial does?

Yep it is supposed to drain aswell , maybe take a look at the hose that connects to see if it’s pinched or take a look where you screw in the barbs to attach waste hose and see if something is blocking it . If you have it draining to outside source make sure it isn’t frozen

The test vial drains so the wastw hose is fine.

I may have to get in the backk of the unit and check the hose for the RO.
I can see it's connected to the vial so I'm thinking either its disconnected or the pump is bad.
It gets water but won't drain.

I think we just need to find what kind they are. Not to knock them, but needles bought in bulk seem to be much cheaper.

All they are is 23Gauge 50mm Blunt tip needles (not the ones that lock ) I checked eBay and Amazon and couldn’t find em . Not in two inches but 20.00 for 10 should last year or two or more

I know I had to clean out the styrofoam it was in some vials , you might have a tiny piece that ended up in the hose

Hello @Johnny M ,

To answer all your above questions. Yes, you would need to buy your own reagents as the ReefBot is sold alone with an accessory kit. However, 3rd party reagents should be bought separately (based on customer preference). We are working on releasing new brands of reagents for various parameters. Therefore, Nitrate will have other brands than API.
30 days warranty only applies for shipping due to our logistics partners for refund of device. The ReefBot has a 1 year warranty policy.
In regards to being an early adopter. The devices have been beta tested for 2 years. Most of the bugs and fixes are already ironed out. We might face some minor issues that we will be working on fixing whenever encountered. We are providing technical support 24/7 from Lebanon. If the device has any major hardware issue that cannot be fixed remotely, we will make sure the issue is handled on case by case basis.

Happy Reefing!

Ok Thanks for clearing up some of the issues i mentioned. 1 year warranty wasn't mentioned in the original email i received. so "30 days warranty only applies for shipping due to our logistics partners for refund of device." means 30 day money back guarantee? And if the device needs to be physically returned due to problems that can't be solved using emails it would have to be shipped back to you in Lebanon? And if yes what would approximate turn around time be? Also how soon will the Nitrate test be able to use reagents other than API? *Salifert/Nyos are very good for that test. THX
