Mine does this for some of the tests. It first does it after withdrawing reagent, over the rinse chamber, presumably to shake off excess reagent. Then it does it when tritrating, after each drop, I'm assuming to ensure each drop makes it off the syringe/needle. Are you getting correct readings?

Mine does it. Figured it was normal to shake off any drips.
It's to shake off the drops from the needle for titrations. I think it does it for every reagent, but only briefly for the ones where it is just putting the full syringe volume in at the same time like API NO3, etc.

Can you have more than 1 tank profile on the ReefBot?
I have it in testing right now as I got it for a 180 gal that I'm building.
I have been putting water from my 110 gal reef in a quart size container and RO in another. Waste goes into a 3rd container.

I can test water from whatever task I want like this but it would be nice to have several tanks set up in the app.

If not...
Can we delete the test history?
I would like to have my test history to be per tank.
If I can't have multiple tank profiles, I would like to be able to delete specific test history.

Any plans to use Hanna alk reagent as a test? I assume that’s just a color comparison test like API nitrate. Would be a faster test than Red Sea since you only add the reagent and check the color.

I think they are planning on it, but it’s likely way more expensive and a bit less precise than a titration method.

I've got a challenge for Reef Kinetics....

Can you make reagents for tests that only use 1 reagent?
It would give the capability for the ReefBot to test for 8 different parameters!

At this moment, I am able to test 4 things
Alk.............. 1 reagent
Calcium...... 2 reagents
Mag............ 3 reagents
Nitrate....... 2 reagents

This fills all 8 slots for testing but I would love to test for Phosphates and any other upcoming tests as well.

Ran it again using the reefbot and got 0 ppm again. Ran it manually and could not tell the difference between colors. Giesemann is really useless and expensive (by requiring so many test kits to be run).

Here are my comparisons so far:
Alk (Salifert) works well and matches Hanna manual testing
Alk (RedSea) is off by 0.2-0.3 dKH from Hanna manual testing.
Ca (API) works well and matches Salifert manual testing.
API (nitrate) can only report 0 ppm, 5 ppm, 10 ppm, etc. It needs better resolution at the low end. My Salifert manual testing was 1 ppm and Reefbot (API) reported 0 ppm.
Mg (RedSea) is off from Salifert manual testing by 75 ppm.
PO4 (Giesemann) is off from Hanna ULR by 0.1 ppm

I hope reefbot can get some better phosphate and nitrate test kits working because right now, I am not ready to let Reefbot automate those tests because it does not give me the accuracy or resolution I desire. Not sure the RedSea Mg is worth using up 3 reagent vials for unless it proves more accurate than Salifert manual testing. I'm not sure which is correct.

I received my other Giesemann Phosphate Test Kits today . (Total of 3) ran a test and got 0 . Is this one still not reading for you also ? Before buying them I specifically Email RK and asked em and this was the one they recommended smh

How much water does this actually use? Im limited in space and wondering how long a 1 gallon waste and 1 gallon rodi container.

Doesn’t use that much (8 ml each wash) It depends how many test you schedule a day the test as It washes the syringe after each regent dip . 1 gallon should last couple weeks easily

Just ran another Giesemann p04 Test .. came back 0 again .. it should be around .07-.08 . What a bummer . $70.00 + in test kits . API Isn’t even worth it since it reads higher ranges

Im waiting till better tests come. Reef Kinetics hinted towards better tests in the future. I hope they can get it done.

Does anyone know how to delete test history?

I've run a bunch of "test" tests and I don't want them in history when I put the ReefBot online for real.

I hope we can delete individual test results but I will settle for overall deletion.
