The deal was....lose the bike and I could get a fish tank! Tough, tough choice.

Gave up the bike but hear me out.
I have ridden a street bike since I was 18 and am turning the big 5 O this year. I didn’t have a drivers license until I was 24.
The thing is, I have never been in an accident. Yes, I have dropped many a bike but never a wreck.

With that said I believed the time to retire from riding had come.
It was just a matter of time and the law of probability was not in my corner.

Toomey pipes 500, changed the power band a lot. Sound awesome. Other than that decked the heads and changed reeds. It was barely rideable as it was

The 350 I left stock. Boy I wish I had either of those now.2 strokes are great on the street.

Most recent bikes.
Oh yea, I worked at a bike shop the last 7 years. Hard to pass up a cherry!
First bike was 1985 GPZ 750 Turbo.

That’s one bad bike. Friend set up one to drag. Crazy fast, it had an air shifter and was crazy fast.

I has one of those RZ 350's in yellow and black with an after market full faring and fork stabilizer. What a hoot to drive! Can only imagine the RZ 500.....

This sucks!

When the motorcycle suffers, the tank suffers.

I purchased a Suzuki M109 (great bike).
I got ran off the road the same day I got it. Bike is in better condition than I am.

I suffered a broken tibia, fractured ankle and 2 cracked ribs.

Of course this happened as im starting a frag tank in preparation for my 180 gallon.
I had just moved all my corals into the frag tank about a week before the accident. The accident was April 15th.
I have not been able to do ANYTHING with the tanks and lost all my corals.

I won't be able to fo anything with my reef tanks till about August.

Like I said,
This Sucks!

Still can't wait to get back on the bike and I can't wait to set up my new 180 gallon reef even though it's gonna start with no coals.

Keep us posted.

Maybe a good time to pick up another hobby. I did puzzles when I was laid up.

The car stopped and watched me slide and tumble down the road.
Once he (or she) saw that I was not dead, they hit the gas and was gone.

Man, that infuriates me. What piece of garbage person runs from someone in need

I had someone cut me off and went down years ago. They drove away but idiot stopped at a red light. Another good person saw, got on the gas and cut him off at the light so he couldn’t move.

A little humor to help. I once hit duck as it flew by me. I was probably 20 or so. I think I had my Yamaha radian then. I lived in Florida. Going down the road next thing I know he hits me right on my right hand. He slid up my arm and bounced off my helmet. Slime from hand to head and put me into a scary wobble for a sec.

Birds, deer, raccoons and possums seem to like ending their lives via motorcycle.

I was once hit smack in the chest by a bird.
Hurt like $#!t!
