I just wanted to give a review to Jeff @ Reeftown. I had some aptasia pop up in my year old tank. Not a chemical user I wanted to try something natural. My experience with aptasia in a tank I set up 30+ years ago, the more you mess with them & try to kill them with methods like lemon juice or kalk slurry, more just seem to pop up and they never completely go away.
I have a 200g Peninsula with some negative space between 4 rock "islands". I bought 10 for each "island". I know these numbers are high for a mild aptasia problem, but I wanted to overwhelm them. I've seen berghia in my LFS once, but they only had a few. I do not recall this method of removal being available 30+ years ago.
When they arrived they looked super small (smaller than the few I saw at the LFS). I must admit my first thought was, oh gawd! I just wasted a ton of money! Or it's going to take these tiny, slow things a year to get every last one.
Tomorrow will be 3 weeks to the day & I am absolutely astonished! It took 3 days for all of them to evacuate the containers, none were DOA. Two of the islands are now completely clear. I know where the aptasia were and they are gone! Completely! Each had 4 aptasia. And of course if there are 4 you can see, there are 3 or 4 more you can't see, usually. Another of the islands had a considerable amount (8-10, some pretty big ones too) & those have been reduced to two. The biggest island in the middle has 3 small stragglers left & 3 have been eaten.
So far, it's working. Time will tell if they get them all, but it's looking like they may!
Fingers crossed & I will update this in a few weeks.

But it is quite obvious they are in there somewhere!
