The MiniCore is a stand-alone reef sensor connector module, running solely off of USB, for ReefPi. Its designed as an direct plug in, no hardware building required option for:

- 1 Wire sensor port, with hardware safety and reset control (PTC limited, switched power to reset stuck sensors)
- Float sensors, two of which can be powered optical or float, third float only.
- Isolated pH sensor
- Optional attractive aluminum case.
- Smaller than a deck of playing cards
- No external power supplies
- Built-in internal expansion port with I2C (functionality TBD, originally 0-10V output but open to other ideas)

Project status:
- Hardware design validated
- Open source firmware 75% complete
- Shares same USB connection agent with the DualDoser project
- Initial prototype builds underway, parts for a small production run on hand.
