I decided to purchase the bulb reef breeders sells for use on chaeto. I was using before a LED bulb from HD that was 5000kelvin range daylight bulb. After a week of use I had noticed my chaeto was turning yellow on top and appeared to be burning up from heat and the color. After researching what replacement light to go with i decided to purchase the Fuge-Lite Bulb.

First impressions are:
- Bulb itself is heavy duty with heatsinks built around the lamp.
- Color is excellent and should be perfect for growing macro algae.

I utilized my current clamp on fixture from hd and have the bulb hanging about 6-7 inches off the water for a even spread.

I had chateo about the size of a softball when I first introduced the light which was 2 weeks ago.
Today I cut it back and removed a large plastic grocery bag worth.

So far i'am very impressed with the light and the growth I currently have.
