Refugium help im 50 gallon lagoon

I am looking to set up a refugium in my innovative marine 50 gallon lagoon aio
What does everyone suggest thought about a hang on refugium but also hear that some people do a in sump refugium in this tank any advice is much appreciated!

There are several approaches that are viable, but an AIO limits your options. Be aware of light spill into unwanted areas when you are setting up your refugium.

InTank makes a fuge insert that will fit in the 2nd or 4th chamber. It’s made to contain Chaeto. I was never able to get Chaeto to grow in my tank but I have had success with a diy algae scrubber type thing.
