Hi guys, had a Fluval M90 the past 4 years & just got my 1st tank with a sump (Red Sea Reefer 350 Deluxe).
Ive ordered a reefdreams seperator for the sump & planned on running macro algae, just wanted peoples opinions on what type of Macro they have good results with & whether to have a miracle mud/sand base etc in the sump or bare bottom.
Only using skimmer & filter socks for the time being until the tanks matured but transfering my old tank over with new sand bed so shouldnt take too long.
Many thanks in advance.

I would just use a bare bottom and put a ball of chaeto with a grow light and make sure you have sufficient flow and you'll be golden.
