So I purchased a light that needs to be hung over my refugion in my sump, under the main display tank. There's around 8-10 inches between the top of the water in the refugium, and the bottom of the display tank. I need to hang the light I got here: https://www.amazon.com/Waterproof-G...09&sr=8-1-spons&keywords=COB+grow+light&psc=1

I have tried using the cross-member of the tank stand, but the tank trim is flush against the stand, so I can't wrap anything around it. The only other option is to use dowels or something, and put each dowel through the metal hanging rings on the unit across the refuge.

Does anyone have any suggestions on what I could use to mount this thing over my fuge?

TLDR; Tank bottom is glass, can't hang fuge light. Any other suggestions?

Screw into outer stand frame and hang it from four points instead of one center one? Adjust lengths of wires to center it above fuge if necessary.
