Hey guys, I'd like to get some opinions/insights on refugium lights. I'm going to add a fuge section in the Red Sea Reefer XL 525's sump.

Currently I'm looking at either:

2 ea Submersible EcoChic 8831 lights (one shining from above and one shining from below)
1 ea Kessil H160 Tuna Flora on gooseneck

Does anyone have experience with either... or both!?! I'm leaning towards having the two EchChic because it would keep the area clean and more open above the sump. Plus the added benefit of having the light more concentrated inside the fuge area.

Thanks for any info around this.

I have Kessil H160 Tuna Flora on Redsea S400 Sump and it seems to be more than enough. However, I recently added the EchChic to get light from the bottom but not sure if it does anything.
Here was my growth from a softball size chunk to almost 1/2 a 5gal bucket in 6-8 weeks
