What is the best kind of Macro Algae for 30 gallon Refugium, it will be for a new 120 gallon reef system?

Chaeto seems to be the best for nutrient export and control. It won't spread easily to the display tank either.

I like Gracilaria and chaetomorpha...

i have gracilaria,chaetomorpha,halimedia,caulerpa in my 40g refugium and would recommend the chaeto gracilaria and calerpa. the calerpa grows extremely fast and takes to cutting fairly well

I have chaeto. It works for me. If I had more room, I would go with a more diversified macro but chaeto works very well.

I have chaeto and Ulva and turtle grass in mine. I am hoping the Ulva will grow well enough to use t as a food source for tangs when I get them.
