Hello all. I have an Eshopps 3 part sump with my chaeto in the middle chamber. No matter what I’ve done, the chaeto always moves to the right side and stays there clogging the flow into the third chamber, and some times even moving into the third chamber which of course results in it being put into the display tank. Any suggestions on how to keep it from doing that and helping it to rotate instead of staying stagnant and dying? I’ve tried putting small pumps in the middle tank with no positive results.

Oh? I read it does. Even better if it doesn’t. How do I keep it in a ball though and from getting one the side?
As others say, try to restrain it with mesh or baskets.
My refugium is crammed with live rock, with the chaeto to the top for best par/light..
