Hoping to get a little help with my Regal 200SSS skimmer. I've recently set up my tank, so this is all a bit new to me. Turned on my protein skimmer 2 weeks ago. When I woke up this morning, I found my skimmer cup overflowing quite rapidly. I've dialed things down a bit now, but I feel as though I'm struggling to get the right settings to dial this thing in. It's sitting in 9" water in the sump. Water level inside the skimmer right now seems to fluctuate. At times, it is bubbling all the way up the neck like this:

Then a few minutes later, the water level falls to below the main body like this:

Any tips to dial this in the right way?

Hello,

Remove the collection cup then put it full water for two or three days : break-in
The water will rise and overflow frequently. No worries.
When you'll see all the "speedy bubbles" calm down, put back the cup and tune your skimmer.
