Thanks for sharing @Subsea , really facinating to see a dedicated hobbyists at work. One of the best posts I have seen in a while. You could sell tickets to tour those sytems, its like a marine manajorie. I often get a little bored of viewing standerdised aquariums. Its such a shame I am in the UK or I would be round with a few bottles of Yorkshires finest Old Peculier to browse your tanks and chat about your methods. Great work, look forward to reading through some of your posts. Best wishes from across the pond.

Tony,
You have connected the dots. AQR will define my bed & breakfast as a magnet of Austin’s templete, “Keep Austin Weird”. Last night I begin initial negotiation with Java Jazz as one venue of AQR music.

Austin is music capital of the world.

Yesterday saw much outside work done at The Ranch with one tree removed and three oak trees in front yard pruned. It was 100 degrees for two hours. During the night a cool front came thru and dropped some much needed rain.

I have run Cat 6 cable to operate an Ethenet hub in the greenhouse for information gathering.

Process controls will be hardware only.

At present, on 2500G system, I am using a sump pump float switch to turn Mag 12 pumps off;on as required. In the event of power loss, I am using a Rain Bird, Normally Closed, irrigation valve coupled to a separate float switch to prevent 1200G tank on the hill from overflowing 150G Rubbermaid tubs.

Note last picture of 1200G tank with brass nozzle pointed up. When it warms up, the spray blankets 1200G tank with cooling mist. The doves & squirrels like the Oasis.

On @Brenna Eliaz first day, two weeks ago, she cleaned up tanks inside that had crashed while on 2 week vacation.

Two salvage discoveries yesterday: Pom Pom Xenia is alive & dancing and two two tiny frag of
Green Sinularia. I have had the Sinularia > 30 years.
