The plug area on my remote busted and now my light is basically useless. Anyone know how to get a replacement or a way to get my light back to my custom setting without the remote?

I am sorry to hear that, please contact me through our website or via pm with your address and order number so that I can send out a new remote, and a return label to repair this one.
I have already done that. I need something quickly.

I was thinking about 24" v2 for my 45 cube. If the light rely just on remote for setting... hmmmm. I probably rethink about it. With my small kids, nothing is safe. Lol

The program is saved to the light, not the remote. You can lock the remote from programming by accident by changing the address ID to 1 instead of 0. In this case it sounds like a signal was sent from the remote before it was powered down.

So if the remote dies, what happens? Does the light just continue with whatever the last program used was?

Yes, everything is saved to the light internally, it doesn't need input from the remote unless you want to change the program.
