Renato's 30g Shallow reef

Im starting a new build. Its a 30g reef ready.
Its only 12 inches high.
Its going to be NPS Corals only!
I still have to paint the metal stand, and plump everything.
Here is the picture of how it looks like now!

Very nice start, I hear NPS, gets my attention right away, not too many tanks like this. Subscribed , can't wait to see how it turns out.
What are your plans for stocking fish and corals?

This is what Im going for! Dendros, sun corals, sea fans.... Fish I already have it! A pair of Black ocellaris clown fishes. Some inverts, no Shrimps, they love to steal food.

Scraped the old paint, and applied Some primer... a few coats and than a Black gloss finish...

Not much done! I did half of the plumbing, painted the back glass.
I will finish the plumbing tonight.

Awesome! I want to get into NPS. I'm getting into the habit of feeding my LPS 3x a week using Julian's thing. How often do you feed your NPS?

Tank is up and running! Still waiting on ATO, power heads, heater w/ controller, a few more things... More update soon!

Strange that I still dont have any ammonia... its reading zero. Is that normal?
Brand new live sand, rocks looks cured for me. There was no bad small when I got it. They are nice and clean. Does that means Im not gonna go thru a cycle?

Sounds like a classic skip cycle @brandon429 would be proud of
