I bought a waterbox aio 65.4 which uses filter socks. I would much prefer to use filter floss. Can you guys show what you have been able to do to swap out the socks for floss?

Can't you buy those caddies that fit in the section?

This may work:

Fill it with filter floss....

Its cheaper on Etsy:

OR you can do the ghetto way of using the mesh sock.
Go here:

Get the MESH... not the felt.
It seems the 65.4 AIO uses 2.75 inch socks..

You can stuff the Mesh with filter floss or roll up a filter pad and tuck inside, and the floss should not stick too much to the mesh vs the felt.

I have been working on this today. It should be able to hold the flat floss. I made it so there is a safety overflow bypass. This is just my initial “prototype”. Once I get the pump up and running, I can adjust it.
