Hi everyone,

My Mariner 130 has been running for about a year now and I have decided I do not like my rock structure on the left side of my display. It is not great for coral placement and I want more negative space.

Unfortunately, its one massive piece I used a ton of emarco 400 mortar on. I cant even imagine how heavy it is.

What are some some suggestions for removing it and dropping in a new rock structure?

Pictures below of structure in question (ignore the hair algae thats beating me in a battle currently)

I wouldn't touch it. From my fresh set of eyes that a very nice scape

Wear gloves, lots of towels, and get help if you can. I got lots of little cuts from vermatid snails while pulling out giant rocks recently from my tank. I was able to set the removed rocks on a a stack of two beach towels and then removed them pretty easily without much dripping on the floor. Be careful not to bash the edge of the tank!
