I've had a few large lizards over the years, but I had a good sized water monitor many years ago, those are my favorite! They are now illegal to keep in my home state of New York, but what cool lizards!

Yeah water monitors are cool...unfortunately they get big and fiesty....even for monitors lol.

Mine was quite gentle, but not yet full grown before I gave her back to the reptile store.
