Hello everyone,
I rescued this monti from my LFS for real cheap. It wasn't really for sale, but I said I would take it for $20.

Do the white parts have any chance of growing back or is it just the skeleton?
Thanks.

That’s a healthy monti :)
The white is skeleton, but the edges of the monti are white which means growth. Since it is growing, it will encrust back over the skeleton eventually and be just fine. :)
Thanks!

With good water quality and good lighting it definitely will recover. The white part is skeleton but it looks like its still growing out, it'll grow back over the damaged/dead parts. Good find! :)

Good score, It pretty healthy like the others have stated. How long have you had it?
