Has anyone ever resealed a tank that has separated panes? I picked up a 75 that has a slightly separated corner, just wondering if silicone and clamps are enough to ensure the structural integrity. All other seams are fine and the tank held about 45g of water before leaking

You will need to break the tank apart and reassemble. You will not be able to fix the seam without doing the for mentioned.
+1 It will have to be completely rebuilt.

I took a 90 gallon completely apart a few years back, 5 pieces of glass. Taking the trim off was the easy part, scraping every single last piece of silicone off the panels of glass was a VERY long process. Needless to say I rebuilt it, water tested and it leaked. Took it apart again, resealed it and it leaked. Took it apart again and sold it off. I spent countless hours on this tank, I won't discourage anyone from rebuilding a tank it just isn't in me and the time it takes just isn't worth it (to me). Lesson learned on my part!

Considering I got this tank and another 75g together for 25$... it wont hurt my feelings if it leaks forever, I wont be out much....

that being said I sealed up the seam as an experiment just for giggles, tank wont ever be a reef tank, but I plan on making this tank a reptile tank, if it hold water for a week.... cool.... if not.... cool. like I said it'll be a reptile tank so no harm no foul.

hearing that I'll have to disassemble really dissuades you fast lol
