Hey everyone im super new to salt aquariums I currently have a waterbox 60.2 and im wanting to change the aquascape is this possible to do without any major impacts on the parameters some is live rock and then a few other pieces i have added dry ive been googling and looking but not crystal awnsers yet would I be able to take the existing rocks out and corals and re shape I to a structure I like or could I build it whilst everything is in the tank any help or suggestion greatly appreciated

It's best to keep everything wet as much as possible, especially corals. But rocks will be fine up to about half an hour out of water without any real impacts. Corals I'd limit to at most 10 minutes or so.

Likely they can go longer, but the longer you leave them out, the higher the risk.

Can do most in the aquarium or in a bucket by moving everything around its not going to cause anything nasty to happen the new dried rock i got off market place has been bleached rinsed 3 times and then will be left in the sun to dry

Awesome thank you mate i bought the aquarium second hand already established for about 2 years everything is doing great but definitely want to mix it up to create more natural scape with a negative space in the middle for corals to grow and fill i think ill be fine re doing the scape will just have to be gentle with current corals and live stock

Another question I had it came with 3 big chunks of live rock that I want to break and use smaller parts of this is safe to do so ?

Important advise

Wear gloves when dealing with the matured rocks ! There are vermetid snails and other things you do not want to get punctured. The pain will last for weeks !

good luck.

Did you end up breaking down any of the larger rock, epoxy them in another form? If so, what was your process. I have a mature aquascape and am thinking to remove large corals from the rocks, leaving any gsp, larger Zoa colonies, and matting corals. I then plan to wrap them in wet towels while out of water, for as short of time as possible, while I break them down epoxy them. Portions will be the live rock with some dry rock add in.

Congrats.

I was going to suggest removing as many of the corals you could and just put them in a bin filled with salt/tank water while you did the work.
